NETBALL LEAGUES
By registering and/or participating in Netball Coach UK netball leagues, you accept the following:
Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability
I understand the nature of Netball Coach UK netball leagues and competitions and confirm that I am appropriately skilled and physically fit to take part. I accept full responsibility for ensuring the environment is safe before I begin participation.
I understand that it is my responsibility to obtain personal injury insurance, as Netball Coach UK does not provide it.
I fully accept that participation in sport carries inherent risks, including the risk of serious injury, permanent disability, or death. These risks may arise from my actions, the actions of others, facility conditions, or other external factors. I accept these risks voluntarily and assume full responsibility for any loss, injury, or damage I may suffer.
I release, discharge, and agree not to bring any claim against Netball Coach UK Limited, its directors, employees, venue partners, officials, volunteers, sponsors, or advertisers (the “Releasees”) for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation—except where caused by proven negligence.
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any claims, liabilities, legal fees, or losses resulting from my participation.
I understand that nothing in this agreement limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If any part of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Terms & Conditions
Definitions These definitions apply throughout:
"The Company": Netball Coach UK Limited t/a Netball Coach UK
"League or Competition": Any league, tournament, or competition organised by The Company
"Captain": A player designated to organise their team and ensure compliance with these T&Cs and league rules
"Season fees": Fees payable for the season by a team or individual
"Team/club": A group of registered players
"Player": An individual participant
"Season": A series of matches designated by The Company (usually 10-14 matches)
Pitch Hire Agreement
A minimum commitment of 10 weeks (unless otherwise stated) at a venue selected at registration.
Fees are payable in full before the first session.
The pitch is hired for a set time per week (typically 35-45 mins) and for the same activity/venue.
No venue changes mid-agreement; breaks longer than 14 days are not allowed.
League Management Agreement
Applies to all services offered by The Company relating to the operation and management of leagues.
By signing up for a league, teams and players agree to the terms and conditions and participant risk acknowledgement. It is the responsibility of captains to ensure players are aware of and adhere to these terms.
Captains are accountable for ensuring all match fees are paid. Where a team fails to settle fees, Netball Coach UK serves the right to pursue any team member for outstanding payments. All players are jointly and severally liable for any team debts.
The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel participation for any breach of terms or rules
League Fees
The League Management Fee is £(x) per season and the price varies between venues. This is payable in advance at the start of the season and is subject to VAT where applicable.
Late or non-payment may result in loss of league place and forfeiture of deposit.
Any monies owed may be collected by outside agencies
Registration & Contact
All players must register online; registration or venue entry constitutes agreement to T&Cs.
Players must provide a valid email for schedule updates.
Player contact details may be shared with teammates for match coordination unless opted out.
The Company is not responsible for missed updates due to incorrect or missing player information.
Health & Safety
Participation is at players' own risk, except in cases of Company negligence.
First aid kits may be available; however, no formal medical services are provided.
Players must assess venue safety before playing and report any risks or misconduct.
Team captains must ensure that playing conditions are suitable before a match begins.
Insurance
The Company holds public liability insurance up to £5 million.
Personal injury insurance is not provided by Netball Coach UK and is the responsibility of the individual
Absence & Forfeits
A forfeiting team will be charged their full match fee
If a team forfeits later than 4hrs before their fixture, GO Mammoth reserves the right to charge the forfeiting team their opposition’s match fee
Two forfeits within a season may result in expulsion from the league without refund
Postponements & Cancellations
Matches postponed due to exceptional events will be rescheduled.
No refunds for delays or changes due to circumstances beyond The Company's control.
Cancelled games may be rescheduled or credited at the discretion of The Company.
Leaving a League
Teams may leave only at the end of a season.
Mid-season withdrawals are non-refundable and remaining match fees are still payable.
Notice to not be included in the next season must be given at least one week before the end of the current season.
Team & Individual Payments
Teams must pay in full before the season begins to secure their place.
Refunds
No refunds within 14 days of season start.
Player Ages
Only players aged 18 or over may participate. Underage players will be removed without refund.
Ringers/Forfeits
Teams missing two games in a season may be removed without refund.

Refusing to play when umpires deem the pitch safe constitutes a forfeit.
The Company will attempt to arrange a friendly match or training session in the event of a forfeit by the opposing team.
Player Conduct
Players must treat others, including staff and the public, with respect.
Verbal or physical abuse, intimidation, or unsportsmanlike behaviour may lead to official warnings, suspensions, or permanent bans from Netball Coach UK activities without refund
Umpires and league staff have full authority during matches, and their decisions are final
Jewellery & Safety
Jewellery must be removed; nails must be trimmed.
Refusal to comply will result in the player being unable to participate in the match
No taping of jewellery; only specific gloves permitted for medical reasons.
League Schedule & Force Majeure
Leagues may be delayed/rescheduled due to unforeseen events (e.g. weather, facility issues, etc.).
The Company is not liable for such disruptions but will endeavour to inform participants and resume leagues ASAP.
Force majeure events include extreme weather, civil unrest, pandemics, and other uncontrollable circumstances.
Bad Weather Policy
Games usually proceed unless extreme weather requires cancellation.
Advance cancellations will be notified by 5pm on game day. Rescheduling or credits apply.
Last-minute decisions are at the umpire's discretion.
Photography & Media Use
The Company may take photographs or videos at league events for promotional use.
By participating, players consent to their image being used in such materials unless they notify Netball Coach UK in writing
Subcontracting and Assignment
The Company may subcontract any of its obligations without notice.
Participants may not assign their agreement or obligations without prior written consent from The Company.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by English law.
All disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
